Light rail is installed at the underside of a wall cabinet to help hide certain lighting fixtures or to conceal the unfinished underside of the cabinets.

It is common to use a 1/4" thick panel with light rail molding to finish the underside of a wall cabinet to give a custom look.

All exposed visible areas are finished white.
